Come and celebrate the Platinum Jubilee and the launch of our project ‘Bees of Bensham’, a 2 year project with artist and beekeeper Barbara Keating, exploring pollinators, nature and land use in Bensham & Saltwell.
Taking place at The Comfrey Project on Sunday 5 June, 11-3pm, this is a free event for all the community. It will include creative, community and environmental activities, bee and nature walks, and food and refreshments. Everyone is welcome.
We will have creative and nature activities and walks from the Comfrey Project, Natural History Society of Northumbria, Climate Action North and Best of Bensham.
