Led by Phil Macari, Ecology and Community Rewilding Director at Climate Action North, Global Wilders is Climate Action North’s Action Award combined with their Accredited Training Programme ‘Rewilding, Nature and Us’. Over two 3-hour sessions of learning you will increase your knowledge of nature so you are better able to plan for action. Through a series of talks, lots of discussion, workshop activities and some outdoor activities, you will be guided through the wonders of nature and how wonderful humans can help:
- Understand the basics of nature and how it works
- Discover more about Rewilding and how you can encourage nature in your local areas.
- Think through your ideas and skills and how to plan your community spaces
Mixture of indoor and some outdoor activity. Appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather.
