Bringing in the New Year we are starting the second set of ten sessions for Weaving for Wellbeing, supporting creative wellbeing and nature-connectedness, for women who attend the Comfrey Project. We started back with a visit to the Shipley Art Gallery, to have a look at their textile collection for inspiration. After we had a look around, Ben Jones, Dingy Butterflies CIC Director and Project Coordinator at the Shipley, led us through a wet felt making workshop which was a relaxing activity to do. Lastly the group got to look at the space where the final exhibition that will showcase all the work the group has done and will do over the course of the 12 months.
