Last week I was invited by Sophie Hope to appear on her podcast, Meanwhile in an Abandoned Warehouse, which is about cultural democracy and community art to sharing experiences, ideas and possibilities and inspire like-minded people. We talked about how Dingy Butterflies came about, art and culture in Gateshead and how Gateshead is not Newcastle. We also discussed our project Bees of Bensham, working with community groups, residents and exploring habitats and wildlife and if there is any connection between bees and cultural democracy! You can listen to the podcast here.
